Michael Seater: His Life And Career

Michael Seater is a name you may or may not have heard of before.

It is however a name that will surely be in all of the magazines and in the hearts of young girls within no time. Michael Seater all ready has a following of young girls who admire him; it is only a matter of time before the rest of the world gets to know who he is. His full name is Michael Bruce Patrick Seater and he was born on January 15, 1987 in Canada. Just take one look at the list of television appearance he has made and you would think that he was born to act. While it may not seem that he has been around all that long, Seater has made appearances on more than 20 different television series. Sometimes, he was able to appear in several episodes for a series. Because of this, he is quickly making a name for himself in Hollywood. However, acting is not where Michael Seater draws the line. He has also shown a great interest in writing TV shows. Under his belt, he has written one episode of “Family Biz” and 2 different episodes of “Life with Derek”. While he has been on “Life with Derek”, “On Thin Ice,” and “The Zack Files”, Michael's latest project would be “18 to Life”.

In a total of six episodes, Michael plays Tom bellow. Most likely, if you cannot place his face now, you'll after you see the show.

It is very easy to see that Michael has worked very tough to get to wherehe is. He attended the Etobicoke school of the Arts, which helped mildew him into the wonderfully gifted writer and actor that he is today. With one or two more roles under his belt, he could very well turn into Hollywood's hottest young actors. With all of this mentioned, it should not be hard to believe that Seater has been nominated for three different awards. He has yet to win any but that is just a matter of time. Young Artist Award for the part he played on “Life with Derek”.

In addition, in 2006, Seater was nominated for a Gemini Aware for his role in “Life with Derek”. This was for Best Performance in a Children's or

Youth Program or Series.

Then in 2008, Michael was nominated for his role on “ReGenesis”.

The nomination came for a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Guest Role Dramatic Series. Even though he has yet to win, it is only a matter of time and he will be accepting awards all the time.
