Overcoming procrastination can be quite a challenge. Here I have shared some techniques to help you stop procrastinating! Do the Jobs

You Are Dreading First. This will boost your self-esteem as you tick off the most difficult task in your to-do list.

It will give you a sense of achievement that makes other tasks seem pretty easy to get done. Make your to-do list chronological. List the most important tasks first and do your list in order. Tick of the tasks as you do them. This will keep you organized and focused. By keeping your to-do list well, you will always know what the next task is and you will not be wasting time thinking “what should I do now? “Don't Wait for the Right Mood at

The Right Time. Work is work that's why it's called such. Waiting for a certain rush of adrenaline to tackle your duties is dangerous to your productivity. Stop Being a Perfectionist. Self-confidence is tied up with doing your tasks well. However some people get a bit carried away. Because they feel they cannot do a task perfectly they delay it indefinitely. This will not help with overcoming procrastination! Perfectionists give themselves a hard time trying to get something done in the most flawless way.

They give themselves unrealistic deadlines. Negatively assess their outcomes. This mentality hinders people from getting actual work done. Perfectionists perform poorly because they constantly obsess about messing up. Perfectionists are not the peak performers. This is because perfectionists spend all their time worrying about messing up rather than actually getting the job done! If you suffer from being a perfectionist, reassess you priorities. Take small brave steps. Create an action plan with realistic deadlines.

The key to doing your best is to start really early. That way you give yourself plenty of time to review your work and spot errors. By maintaining a fresh and relaxed attitude, you are able to give your best. Get Moving. Get up and start moving. This alone should help you snap out of your procrastination. Why? Because doing something (particularly physical) helps you to increase efficiency. And one you get up it is easier to keep moving. Go for a walk whenever you can. Clean your desk and get rid of clutter. This creates a forward motion that will keep things going. Doing something rather than slacking builds momentum and jump-starts you up for your project. Procrastination sounds harmless. But for some people it isn't.

They get in such a bad cycle of procrastination they actually get depressed.

If you are battling procrastination – be realistic.

There is no quick fix. Develop a routine that works for you and you will be on your way to overcoming procrastination.
